Hi all, I've been trying to get a Unex CM9-GP working under RedHat 7.3. I'm currently trying to use a new 2.4 kernel (2.4.32) and the Madwifi-old driver (r1208-20060106), they only real requirements I have is the base be RH7.3. I've also tried 2.4 kernels 20,21,22,27 with success ranging from the driver not compiling, to refusing to link properly, to loading and not ever connecting to the access point. I've also recompiled wireless tools (27) from the tarball on the HP site. All of this has been done with gcc 2.95.3. With 2.4.32 the driver compiles and loads finding ath0 and allowing me to ifconfig it as well as run iwconfig on it. I've also tried various kernels from ATrpms and fedora-legacy with little success. Even when their kernels would install their modules woudn't ever link right, and attempting to recreate the kernel from the sorce packages they provided (a must, i have other drivers to build) would fail on building. So anyone got any advice on getting that driver to work correctly on a redhat 7.3. box? I tried searching thru the archives, but found little recent information. Thanks for any and all responses.
