Hi,=20 I'm running Debian with kernel 2.6.7. I compiled the madwifi modules = completely fine. After loading the modules with the Cisco CB21AG, I get = the following from dmesg - no ath0 is added to the system. This happens = with both the Cisco and Engenius cards.=20 ath_hal: 0.9.9.13 wlan: 0.7.3.2 BETA ath_pci: 0.8.6.1 BETA ath_pci: 0.8.6.1 BETA bus pci: add driver ath_pci ath%d: unable to attach hardware; HAL status 14 With the Engenius 3054CB card, I get the following and nothing else. No = ath0 device is added to the system. ath_hal: module license 'Proprietary' taints kernel. ath_hal: 0.9.9.13 wlan: 0.7.3.2 BETA ath_pci: 0.8.6.1 BETA ath_pci: 0.8.6.1 BETA bus pci: add driver ath_pci I'm using the newest CVS build as of this evening. Are these cards = supported? or am I doing something else wrong? The Cisco card looks = like it's supported by madwifi - I see the 3054MP is supported, but no = mention of the 3054CB. I'm guessing they're the same chipset. Am I = wrong in thinking that? any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated... -Tim |
