Sorry for the lack of info regarding the WPA branch, I didn't think it was that important since that branch is under heavy development anyway. Basically what happens with my AR5212 card and the WPA branch is that neither "iwlist ap (or scan)" nor associating with an AP seem to work unless I explicitly set "iwpriv mode 2" - mode 0 nor mode 3 work, so an 802.11g network is limited to 802.11b at 11Mb/s. When running "iwlist scan" when the card is in a mode other than 2, it says "Failed to read scan data : Resource temporarily unavailable". When trying to associate with an AP in a mode other than 2, iwconfig just always shows an FF:FF.. AP address and a Bit Rate of 1 Mb/s, with a constantly changing frequency and 0 link quality. I think wireless works as long as I force mode 2, but don't quote me on that one since I don't have a wireless network here that works with either CVS branch at the moment. I tried your latest change, but it didn't seem to make any difference. But regardless, would be nice if I could get either branch working with my Cisco AP (channel 1, 802.11g, WEP), though preferably HEAD.
