Current situation appears quite problematic to me. Public Safety channels are standardized and these with numbers 5,15,25 and so on (frequencies like 4.9475 GHz) are 5 MHz only. So from one side driver allows setting of central frequency to these values, but does not complete configuration and the device transmits 20MHz. Not good at all. Probably it would be better to disable setting of these channels. In Open HAL there is no country code and Regulatory Domain for Public Safety band, but in Atheros HAL they are present, so should probably be handled correctly. Regards, -- Mark Goldstein |
