Well, it apparently did install properly, but I'm having a heck of a time getting any Linux variant install: 1. Red Hat Enterprise 5 DVD - boots but the logs indicate it's unable to mount the dvd. (tried this twice once with a DVD burned with K3B, second time with a DVD burned on Mac) 2. Red Hat Enterprise 5 CD - same as above. 3. Mandriva, got to the point of setting the root password and everything was locked up. Mouse, keyboard, had to power off. 4. Trying Fedora 8 DVD now, gotten further then Red Hat. Installing software now. -- Until later, Geoffrey Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety. - Benjamin Franklin |
