Here's an update that might shed light on the problem. If I go to the book
first using the simple navigation boxes, for instance, click drop-down box,
manually select "Luke", then I can use the reference box, i.e. Luke 3, Luke
9:1, etc. If I then leave Luke, I still can't type "Luke x" in the reference
box and have to navigate there using the drop down, then I can type
references in Luke again all day long. This works for any book.

Also, I've discovered the reason 1Sam - 2Chron worked is that ANY book that
starts with a number works, not just those OT books. So, 1 & 2Cor, 1 & 2Tim,
1-3John etc., all work. It's only the books without a number in front that
don't. And I tried using a bogus "1Romans" to see if it mattered, but it
didn't; still fails.
