Moin Lars et al., Ok, thanks for the affirmation! I had another look; html mails (which are configured to be displayed as text mails) seem to be ok generally. Mails from GMX(.de) were fine as far as I tested these; yet, some from web.de were fine, others not... ah, the fine mail from web.de was sent with Outlook express - the other one probably was sent with the web interface. Both UTF8... Perhaps it depends on whether only text or text+html is sent?
