Macronize, a precise macro builder to automate your apps on Windows
Brought to you by:
peverbeek
I had installed and used Macronize last week, but today I only get the error "Macro can't be initiated Windows Program manager couldn't be activated in 5000ms" Followed by Macro is stopped by Macronize due to a timeout, a fail-safe reason or cancelling by you"
Nothing has changed on the system that I'm aware of. Any ideas?
OS: Win10 Educational
i7 CPU
Should the macro activate (as in go to) the "Windows Program manager"? If so, it could be that this is now prohibited or that you need to start Macronize with administrative rights to be able to activate this window.
Wow, thanks for the fast response!
I am running as admin, in "explorer.exe-Program Manager" and with most if
not all values at default.
Any ideas?

#3I figured it out. I had to set it to start in the application I wanted to
automate, something I hadn't needed to do before. I did check for it the
first time but didn't recognize the program name (it's listed as "self
service") till just a minute ago. All is good now.

#3Great to hear you figured it out. It's difficult for me to help not knowing what a macro does and how it works, mostly because making macro is so specific.
