Deep Space 9 - The Fallen Transparency problems
Brought to you by:

Textured objects in the intro fade to black instead of
fading to transparent. Also, in one of the in-Game
movie sequences, the supposed transparent areas of a
nebula are translucent (because the whole object is
translucent).
The intro bug can be workarounded by making MacGLide
pretend to have 2 Glide texture units (by editing the
config file). But because actually one unit is
supported only, the game itself will lack details
(become appearent in the cut scene right after the intro).
In fact MacGLide has to support more than one Glide
texture unit.

Hmm,
the way top implement this is obvious, but my graphics card
(ATI Radeon 7500) doesn't provide enough OpenGL texure units
to support more than one Glide tmu.
I think I need help on this one. Is anyone eager to help me
on upgrading my Cube to a Radeon 9000? I would off course
pay for all parts, but some wiring/soldering work must be
done (see http://www.cubeowner.com for details). Free stay,
espresso, self-baked cakes and the like would all be
inclusive, along with an oppurtunity to visit Zurich,
Switzerland.
