#8 Garbled video and audio
I was overjoyed to find bbdemux as I have several muxed MPEGs
that I would love to transcode to other formats. However, upon
running it (dual 500mhz G4, OS 10.4.2, 896MB RAM, Quicktime
7.03), it says it's working and the progress bar moves, but doesn't
load the next one once it reaches the end. It just sits there with a full
progress bar until I tell it to skip or cancel (and I left it for a good ten
minutes). It will do this for both video and audio, and the resulting
files are unusable. The video stream is noisy with stalls and
artifacts, and the audio file is mostly blank with a few bits and pieces
every so often, usually lasting 10 seconds or so and then going back
to silence. The logfile was a colossal 14.2MB and contained the
same few strings over and over and over. This would be a great
program for allowing people to transcode MPEGs if it would work.

I might have fix this now - at least the stall should be fixed in the version in CVS.
Leaving this open for now as I'm not able to prove the garbled audio is fixed.
