#3 Crash when working with 5-ch AC-3

There seems to be a bug when working with '.vob'
files that contain 48kHz 5-ch AC-3 audio that
causes the application to enexpectedly quit.
I've run two tests with repeatable results.
First, converting it to VBR MP3 causes the
application to quit after the conversion (I don't think
it did this in earlier versions with the same source
file); however the MP3 file is written properly.
Second, converting with normalization turned on
causes the program to quit after normalization but
before transcoding, leaving no output files.
There does not seem to be any problems working
with 48kHz Stereo AC-3 files.

a real problem with 5 channel ac3s that i had was that
the sound quality of the spit out aiffs was completely
damaged, no matter what sample rate.

the bug is in the alivec enabler.

i use a dual g4 with altives, but the 5 channel ac3s and
maybe others too are damaged when i enable it.

so i disabled altivec, now the quality is ok.
