Hi all, Reading this <http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=46FFCDF4.2080706%40xs4all.nl> ( http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=46FFCDF4.2080706%40xs4all.nl) discussion between Adam and Willem, I tried to use the m5603c-0v7640. The driver seems to load, but no video device is created (and of course xawtv sees nothing as a consequence). I had a lot of hope since Willem said his webcam was working. Kernel log doesn't show much : Jun 18 00:46:21 mack kernel: [ 1810.560790] Linux video capture interface: v2.00 Jun 18 00:46:21 mack kernel: [ 1810.562106] usbcore: registered new interface driver m5603c Did I miss something here ? Should I create the device myself by hand ? I would like to help as much as I can, and put some real time into it (as much as I can afford anyway), so please let me know if I can provide anything more usefull. I can read a piece of code without a heart attack. m5603_trust and _sweex wouldn't build so I couldn't test any further. Regards, -- Olivier Revelin |
