FEATURES:

• ADD: Custom shortcut ability for all tools (ex. Pencil, Brush, Knife, etc.)

• ALLOW: Clicking on a mixer track's VU meter to select that channel.

• 'Sampler': Make ADSR, Cutoff, Resonance, and Start + End knobs automatable via automation clip.

• On a pattern's Right-Click menu, allow double clicking of pattern's label (at the top/header of menu) to quickly change pattern name. + ALSO apply this to 'Mixer' insert/track right-click menu as well.

• 'Audio Editor': ADD playhead follow button (On/Off).

• 'Audio Editor': Allow drag and drop audio files into 'Audio Editor' + drag and dropped audio file replaces current loaded sample in Audio Editor.

• 'Audio Editor': Ability to send selected a 'Region' (trim/cut out/selection) to its own new Sampler channel without sending OR cropping entire Audio Editor loaded audio.
  Goal = Send selections to new sampler channel via right click.

• 'Channel Rack': ADD "Pattern Length" number-slider setting (in Bars (ex. 1, 2, 8, 16-Bars)) at top alongside swing knob etc. Same or similar design to channel insert/track number setting-slider.

• 'Channel Rack': ADD Follow playhead button (On/Off)

• 'Piano Roll' > Sound/Chaneel selection dropdown menu (next to 'Pencil' tool): ADD a bolded "All" (instrument option) at top of instrument list - that shows ALL the midi notes in the Piano Roll for ALL instruments used/played (midi notes) in the current selected pattern.
  Goal = Quick bulk note editing for entire current selected Pattern.

• 'Mixer': ADD Automation ability for the routing "volume level" knobs under faders. Automation clip ability.

• Allow drag and drop audio files into 'Browser', into a folder.
  Goal = Drag and drop copy of audio files from PC locations and windows INTO LYNX 'Browser' > Folder of choice in LYNX Browser window.

• 'Sampler': Allow drag and drop over sampler waveform, sample replacement from Browser.

EDIT: - 'Browser' > Sample preview: Allow scrubbing through sample preview (sample preview window - bottom), also ADD "Loop" (On/Off) button at top next to stop button.

FUN FEATURES:

• 'Theme' > 'Workspace Image': Ability to localize LYNX background images to a (LYNX known) folder next to LYNX.exe such as "bg"/"backgrounds"/"images" that will ALLOW saving and loading of custom images (from localized folder)

• Allow saving of workspace images into custom saved 'Theme' presets (save/load), ignore "Per-Project" feature request - also probably less bug prone this way.
  ---Also, the current theme 'Color' coloring options/settings are perfect as is!

• 'Theme': ADD 'Startup Sound' section to add the ability to simply load an audio file to replace LYNX's startup sound. Leave default LYNX startup sound when no custom sound is set.

BUGS:

• After setting custom Metronome On/Off shortcut key (to 'C'), shortcut key does not work/respond accordingly to new shortcut input.

• Clicking - Options>Theme (colors, background): Opens MIDI settings instead of Theme settings.

• AUTOMATION: Parameter automation (tested with Native LYNX plugins (specifically 'Effector')) is not stable in Song mode. At the initiation of an Automation clip - it should sustain and continue to smoothly elongate clip length until Recording has stopped (Record button de-pressed).
  Goal = Smoother, more accurate automation parameter adjustment recording, along with fluid clip lengthening while actively recording (without cutting itself (BUG))

• Attempting to record pitch bend input from MIDI controller does not actually print/record to Pattern when auditioning pitch bend during recording.

• Fast cycling up and down through samples (about 2 1/2 samples/per second) causes LYNX crash. EDIT: testing this bug on a blank project it no longer crashes.

This might be a bit much but if you can get all these to work you've pretty much solved all the major workflow issues and snags
