Did you create the glimpse indexes (ie configure it in lxr.conf & run genxref) as detailed in the installation instructions? If you did, can you successfully use glimpse from the command line to search for items in your indexes? I don't have glimpse handy here, but the command is something like glimpse -I <path to index file> search_term If that works then there is a problem in lxr.
