The identifier search such as:

http://sourcenav/lxr/ident?v=<version>?i=<ident>

does not return enough information compared with the
freetext search.

It would be perfect if each indentifier in the list
displayed the content of the line as well, just like
the freetext search.

Free text search operates on text. Thus when a match is found, the line of
occurrence is for free.
Ident looks only through its indexed data base where only the "coordinates"
of occurrences are recorded (file, release, line number, type). Accessing
the line would considerably impact performance.

Would this penalty be generally accepted?
