Initial Comment:
When changing treeextract to targetextract, an occurrence was left out in sub captionexpand.

This bug does not show if 'caption' parameter exists since its value is used. Otherwise, a sensible value is computed from URL through sub targetextract (or supposed to since the name was not changed here).
