It looks like the same as feature request 2807128 submitted in 2009. I'll 
analyse your patch as soon as I'm through with a "button interface" and 
incorporate it in the coming 0.9.10 release (a month or so).

Would you agree to test the alpha 0.9.10 release with your patch?
