No, I don't think we did.  We established that there are rather big
differences between what the users of plain.pm and CVS.pm want, but
not how to resolve those differences.

I haven't had time to look at this for quite a while now,
unfortunately, and I'm not sure when I will find such time.  I think
it needs some redesigning, possibly even somthing as drastic as
separating the functions for cvs and plain, if they no longer have
that much in common.

If somebody else wants to have a go, feel free.  Otherwise I'll have
another stab at it when time allows.
