Here is a patch for minimal JavaScript support.
My installation index a project containing (among other) many JavaScript files, and I've used this patch for many years.

Well, it is rather a "feature request" than a bug because there is not yet
JavaScript support in LXR.
I received a contribution from a user a couple of weeks ago about that same
JavaScript support. I'll compare and merge your patches. Time permitting,
I'll tru to release a new version before the beginning of next year.
