Hi Spike, 0.10 is the last stable version released, and it's indeed old. We are very close to releasing the next version, with a lot of polishing and new features. There are two PPA, and the one you linked is supposed to be the best one, as I've heard. I don't use Ubuntu, do can't say much. I build and install from source, and recommend it. To run it, you have to logout and choose it in your display manager. SDDM is recommended here. lxqt-common is the component that has the startup script and the session file. Please report any difficulties with installation or configuration, and documentation incompleteness as well.
