It would be useful to be able to set the font size for the digital clock on the panel independently of the system font. You typically want it to be larger and fill more of the panel's height - but at the moment (= 2016-08-10) it is always rendered with the system font.
Ability to choose another font overall would also be nice and would probably not complicate the implementation of this feature.
@lstranger : I'm sure it's a super-easy thing to implement for a developer familiar with the project. Do you think there's a chance you guys might do it?
Sure. As soon as time permits. Unless someone proposes a patch earlier, of course.
Hi,
I like to share an issue related to this one.
I am using the panel placed on the right (not at the bottom as more usual), with width 35 and icon size 30 (i.e. quite small). The digital clock font "does not scale", meaning that the text is truncated since it is too big.
So having the chance to manually set the font size could be enough to fix this issue (but also an auto-scaling feature could be nice).
Meanwhile I am forced to check the "tooltip only" (the clock icon scales well).
Regards
