I understand your point,=20 but given the fact that the "lease" is tied to the MAC=20 address, and given that you can't restart the network=20 without losing your root filesystem, I wonder what the=20 point is. My thought for fixing this would be something similar to the=20 dhcpcd -T option. Perhaps I can hack dhcpcd so it doesn't=20 take down the network. --Skip |
