If you know that you need finnish support for non-x-window programs? Why installation for english or what it was in first place? About OOo... you can anytime install/purge OOo or any other useless program after installation... and you do not put OOo in the chroot. Using ltsp-localpps is a different kind of story, ltsp-localapps works ony in 8.10. Maybe this works after all in lts.conf LDM_LANGUAGE="fi_FI.UTF-8" XkbSymbols="fi(pc105)" XkbModel="pc105" XkbLayout="fi" http://www.ltsp.org/~sbalneav/LTSPManual.html#ldm-variables http://www.ltsp.org/~sbalneav/LTSPManual.html#keyboard ---- Ubuntu is clever enough to handle your language if you follow it's own simple way to install, I think. ps. See you in Valamo... ;-) http://wiki.ubuntu-fi.org/LTSP5_Ty%C3%B6paja_2009 Best Regards Asmo Koskinen. |
