Ubuntu keeps the nvidia driver in restricted drivers. You need to install the restricted drivers for the kernel into the chroot. LTSP5's chroot uses apt. You should be able to do something like: sudo chroot /opt/ltsp/i386 apt-get install nvidia-glx and it will bring it all in. -GR On Fri, 2007-07-27 at 18:01 -0500, LC Bruzenak wrote: > I have a working LTSP 5.07 Ubuntu server and client. > I wanted to improve the graphics on the clients by installing/using a > graphics card. > I have a GeForce FX 5200 card for the client (similar to the server's). > I do not understand how to get the client kernel to load the nvidia > driver. > I use the ltsp-build-client script and although it appears that the > pieces are there it doesn't work. > > What gets installed are the modules, etc. but the driver listed in the > xorg.conf file is "nv". > > Because my server also has the nvidia GEForce FX 5200 (although 256MB) I > tried copying over most of the xorg.conf settings into the client chroot > etc/X11/xorg.conf to match.
