CS, I don't know anything about the ftp.epplug.org site, so I can't assume anything about the packages that are found there. BUT, I do know that you shouldn't be using a ltsp_sound-3 package for LTSP-4. The ltsp_sound-3 package repaces the getltscfg program with an older version that breaks LTSP-4+ LTSP-4.1 includes all of the client stuff you need for sound. You just need some server-side stuff to make it all work. Check the following LTSP wiki page for more info on sound: http://wiki.ltsp.org/twiki/bin/view/Ltsp/Sound Jim McQuillan jam@Ltsp.org On Sat, 7 May 2005, Catherine [iso-8859-15] St=E9fan wrote: > Hello > > I downloaded it from ftp://ftp.epplug.org/ltsp/ltsp_sound-3.0.1-i386.tgz > Your question made me think that I haven't tried with other packages. > As the links on http://www.ltsp.org/ltsp-4.1.html don't work, I will try = to > install the one from http://www.bravegnuworld.com/~rjune/ltsp/audio/?C=3D= D;O=3DD > and get back to the List in case of a problem. > Thanks, > > CS > > > Le vendredi 06 Mai 2005 17:49, Jim McQuillan a =E9crit=A0: > > CS, > > > > What sound packages are you talking about? > > > > Where did you get them, and what are they called? > > > > Jim McQuillan > > jam@Ltsp.org > > > > On Fri, 6 May 2005, Catherine [iso-8859-1] St=E9fan wrote: > > > Dear all, > > > > > > I am running LTSP 4.1 on a Mandrake 10.1.
