Hi all, When I start my diskless client everything up to runlevel 3 is fine but when I start the /tmp/start_ws script the trouble begins. I get an X-Login but I can=92t move the mouse or type something on the keyboard. The connection to the displaymanager seems to be ok, because the clock at the login window is running. This is the behaviour when I use Suse Linux 8.0, when I use Redhat 7.2 there is the same problem, but when I unplug the mouse before starting the start_ws script the keyboard is ok. While the logon window is displayed I plug in the mouse and use the =93exit=94 button to restart something (I don=92t know what) and the = mouse started to work. The hardware of the diskless client is ok, because when I run a Linux on its HD keyboard and mouse are working. The displaymanager is running on a AMD 1700 with 256 MB DDR ram and the diskless client is a Celeron 533 with 256 MB SDRAM, I=92m using a PS2 keyboard and a PS2 wheal mouse and that=92s the lts.conf file: # lts.conf # [Default] SERVER =3D 192.168.2.1 XSERVER =3D auto X_MOUSE_PROTOCOL =3D "IMPS/2" X_MOUSE_DEVICE =3D "/dev/psaux" X_MOUSE_RESOLUTION =3D 400 X_MOUSE_BUTTONS =3D 5 USE_XFS =3D Y LOCAL_APPS =3D N RUNLEVEL =3D 5 # for german keyboard XkbModel =3D pc104 XkbLayout =3D de It would be great if someone can tell me what I=92m doing wrong!
