Thank u very much firstly! Another point is that the OS work correctly for 3 days to run another application until I shutdown it manually. Version of the LTP I used is exactly very old, it's ltp-7.9.02-0.i386.rpm. Because I can't connect to proxy 210.99.91.251 to visit http://ltp.sourceforge.net, so I can't get lTP latest version. I need kernel 2.4.9-e9enterprise than others, because it realize may new features to support enterprise class application such as Oracle9iR2 to get better performance and reliability. such as bigpage, shmfs, have process's mapped address low... My server have 5G memory only. Does it mean that I am using himem 64? So, you know I have no choice to select other ltp version or another OS. Can you help me take over this problem? What I need is an tool to test OS's basic functions and reliability. Maybe you can tell me an new proxy server which I can visit ltp website through, or recomment another tools, or give me some advise. Waiting for you reply. Have a happy weekend! Best Regards, ShangYu INTERESTING!!! What version of LTP are you using?? did you extract using CVS or are you using one of the release versions. I made some changes to runalltest.sh script sometime before the 25th of this month. Also, your kernel is very old :-) that the problem might be fixed in the later releases of the kernel. Try a different kernel, on 2.4.18 & 2.5.x LTP runs like a charm Cheers Manoj Iyer On Fri, 27 Dec 2002 03:30:50 -0600 (CST) Manoj Iyer <ma...@au...> wrote: > > I forgot, if you are using himem 64 you might experience problems, When I > was doing memory testing with himem set to 64 I had OS hangs in the older > version of 2.4.x kernel.
