Ok, I'll play around with it as I find time. I only have 1GB memory so hopefully I can reproduce it but maybe there is another reason (i.e. big memory machines are faster?) Dunno. Are you on an SMP machine? Mine is only a 2-way so maybe that's why I didn't see this. Then again, I wasn't doing make -j 2 install either (are you doing this?) -todd |
