I don't know if anyone has looked into mapping LTP tests to specific CGL requirements, but executing an LTP "run_all" is not sufficient to state that a distro is CGL compliant. For instance the very first requirement (from the V2.02 document) states that CGL system will be LSB compliant. To prove that, it would be better to run the LSB certification suite (http://www.freestandards.org/en/Download#LSB_Runtime_Testkit) rather than LTP. Other requirements need other proof to show that it meets the CGL requirements. I do think that LTP has some very good tests to help support the notion that a CGL compliant distro is also generally functionally correct with regards to system calls and libraries. In fact I believe that some of the POSIX tests created for CGL -- The Open POSIX Test Suite (http://posixtest.sourceforge.net/) has been included in the LTP harness. There are many other instances of that but what may be better is to=20 go through each requirement in the CGL specification and map a set of tests against that spec. Here are a couple of other test projects that would also help the testing fro CGL SAF conformance test suite: http://www.saf-test.org/ CGL test suites: http://sourceforge.net/projects/cglinux >=20 > =20 >=20 > Thanks and regards! >=20 > Lu moxi=20 >=20 >=20 > = -------------------------------------------------------------------------= > Using Tomcat but need to do more?
