Unfortunately I can't do any testing for this architectures as I don't have access to a x86_64 machine. My suggestion would be to direct the interested party to the patches in the CVS directory. Should a patch turn out to be broken, I can offer basic debugging support (ltp-coverage list preferred). Also note that I added a new gcov-kernel patch for Linux 2.6.16 which no longer requires the default architecture modifications. This patch should 'support' (i.e. provide the kernel configuration option on) all architectures by default, even though I'd guess that some architectures will need workarounds for the functionality to be available. Hope this helps. Regards, Peter |
