Perhaps, instead of trying to merge various different subsystem needs into this one driverfs view yourself, Pat, it might be better to define a process by which these are to be merged. For example (a rather radical example) one could setup a WikiWiki page describing all that appears in /driverfs, and mandate that anyone exposing more drivers or attributes via /driverfs had to describe them on the publically writable WikiWiki page. Now that probably suggestion probably has more problems that it is worth enumerating ... just shaking loose the cobwebs. But some common place, document, person or organization ...
