Release 1.0 is now ready to use.
I placed the ressources for using (binaries.zip) or extending (complete.zip) the ephemeris into the download area.

Project web site http://lpe.sourceforge.net has now been established. The section "Further development" has yet to be supplemented by a list of planned features for a forthcoming release.

Detected unicode problem in CVS upload. I am upload with iso-8859-1, but it seems that the server requires UTF-8. I will look at this more closely.

I am currently working on the program which generates the compressed ephemeris files. I want to keep them up to date, so I will run it with the latest Swiss Ephemeris version available as base data.
