I am using Windows XP and MSVC++ and got no idea how
to successfully make executables from the Loris
source files. Every time I try I get thousands of
compiler errors (mostly relating to templates
definitions). I have given up.
Couldn't you provide ready-made executables on your
downloads page just once in a while or even a full
installation program? (Or at least detailed step-by-
step instructions for Windows users for how to make
the project.) I would be very grateful. Thanks in
advance!

No, since Loris is primarily a library, not an executable, there's really no
compelling way or us to honor that request.

However, Csound5 includes (older) versions of the Loris library built into the
Csound environment (thanks chiefly to the efforts of Michael Gogins). That
would be one way to start using the capabiliites of Loris without much
    programming.
