Hello to the list, on my Blackberry Bold 9900 I installed last year logicmail 2.2.0.85 which worked very fine since three days ago: Fetching mails from my provider (T-Online) via "Direct TCP" suddenly stoppped working. The same effect when fetching the mails from my provider via Wifi. Fetching mails from my own mail server in my home network via Wifi works without any issues. Surfing or the OneMediaHub-App work without any problems, too. Turning on debugging in the menu of Logicmail does not show anything. The I looked at the log file (Alt+LGLG on Homescreen) I got this: #BlackBerry Event Log (cpt) #HwID: 0x7001204 #DPIN: 0x28218c36 #PVer: 5.1.0.692 #AVer: 7.1.0.1033 E System - JVM:INFOp=28218c36,a='7.1.0.1033',o='5.1.0.692',h=7001204 - Different Operating System. The closest you can get it to side-load an Android Email App. I've used Kaiten Email ftp://ftp.sv-cs.com/BlackBerry/Kaiten_Email_v1.152.bar.zip ftp://ftp.sv-cs.com/BlackBerry/com.kaitenmail_v1.4.14.0.bar There is a newer 1.2, but I don't have a .bar file. http://www.riauflasher.com/f808/kaiten-email-1-203-android-164624.html John Hanks Skagit Valley Computer Solutions 360-855-0313 From: André Lucas [mailto:and...@ho...] Sent: Tuesday, April 08, 2014 2:45 AM To: log...@li... I installed LogicMail with default permissions. I'm not sure what collection BlackbBerry choose for the application (I did not take note). I tried to reduce permissions to what I believe to be minimum. For images of the three permission screens, see http://postimg.org/image/ykq6unjn5/, http://postimg.org/image/8jb0yaxnd/ and http://postimg.org/image/qbl22aay5/. Allowed permissions still include Internet, Wifi, Cross-App Comm, Email, Organizer Data, Files, Security Data, and Secure Element. LogicMail will no longer start. It stays on its splash screen with the spinning wheel. For an image, see http://postimg.org/image/m3813kkqn/. I tried searching for the minimum permissions required, but I did not have any luck. Does someone know what the application's minimum permissions required are? Thanks in advance. |

Good day, I installed properly latest Lagicmail for my gmail account and it works well (sends and receives) for max 1 day. After that time it is not receiving any new e-mails and it is not possible to delete any messages as well as I may not view any old message and logicmail is not connecting to the server on opening. However I may still send e-mails and reply. The only way is to delete logicmail and re-install but it works again only for 1 day. Tested both on POP and IMAP and is still same During an installation I chose in an options all permissions and proper connecting methods and for POP SSL port 995 for SMTP TLS port 587 Refreshing on startup headers and frequency of checking 10min message to load 50, load increment 10, message to retain 100 (presently loaded 48) Data location on media card with a lots of free space. Theoretically all settings are OK as they forks but for 1 day only please advice Krzysztof Klejna Stronie Wies 34 57-550 Stronie Slaskie Poland tel.:+48 606 94 30 81 email: k.k...@gm... http://www.pwsweather.com/obs/STRONIE.html |

Dear All, How can I have my mails and actions in offline mode cause can't open mails or compose nor in Imap and neither in pop whenever the connections lost to the Internet. By the way, why the mails in outbox vanishes when I exit or restart the device. Apprecinating your reply in advance! Best Regards, Saeed Sent on my BlackBerry® |

Hi. I've just installed Logicmail 2.2.0.81 on a Blackberry Curve 9300 3G (UK model). BB O/S is 6.0 Bundle 2949 (v6.0.0.668 platform 6.6.0.236) Installation appears to have gone OK, Test Configuration showed "Connection OK" I'm attempting to get mail from a Microsoft Exchange server using POP. Connection is Wi-Fi. When I start LM, icon against POP account has red cross. Menu -> Refresh Status shows "Opening connection" and then red cross cleared. I then go to Inbox and attempt to get mail. There is a status message "Getting folder messages" then message box pops up "unknown error". From the log, it looks like LM connects to the mail server OK, and could even be receiving messages (I can certainly see message headers in the log). However, no messages appear in the inbox, and log shows Java NullPointerException. The whole log is about 250 lines, here is an extract around the time of the error (I am happy to post the whole log if that is not against list etiquette, or upload it to a recommended file store). Log appears to be in reverse order? d LogicMail - [SEND CMD] QUIT - 2/14 10:17:01 d LogicMail - PopProtocol.executeQuit() - 2/14 10:17:01 E LogicMail - java.lang.NullPointerException - 2/14 10:17:01 S Java Exception - NullPointerException - 2/14 10:17:01 | No detail message | LogicMail-5(508B5DA2) | PopClient | <private> | 0xB8A2 | LogicMail-5(508B5DA2) | PopClient | getFolderMessages | 0xB555 | LogicMail-5(508B5DA2) | PopFolderRefreshRequest | <private> | 0xBC43 | LogicMail-5(508B5DA2) | PopFolderRefreshRequest | execute | 0xBB88 | LogicMail(508B5DA2) | AbstractMailConnectionHandler | handleRequest | 0x376 | LogicMail-3(508B5DA2) | IncomingMailConnectionHandler | handleRequest | 0x234 | LogicMail(508B5DA2) | AbstractMailConnectionHandler | handlePendingRequests | 0x60C | LogicMail-1(508B5DA2) | AbstractMailConnectionHandler$ConnectionThread | run | 0xE3 d LogicMail - [RECV] +OK 1 31521 - 2/14 10:17:01 d net.rim.tcp - TXss - 2/14 10:17:01 d net.rim.tcp - TXsb 33 - 2/14 10:17:01 d LogicMail - [SEND CMD] LIST 1 - 2/14 10:17:01 d LogicMail - PopProtocol.executeList(1) - 2/14 10:17:01 d LogicMail - [RECV] +OK 1 2 - 2/14 10:17:01 d net.rim.tcp - TXss - 2/14 10:17:01 Sending mail via SMTP works fine. When you delete an email from Logicmail, it doesn't show in the correct Trash folder. Perhaps I configured wrongly, please advise. Gmail implements folders in a very odd way. If you delete something from the All Mail folder, it will show up in Trash. Outside of that, it simply removes the message from it's label and stays in the All Mail folder. Mine too (Bold 9780 running 2.2.0.81), and I hardly how such date change could affect logicmail, but a mail server, yes, and that wouldn't be something new. Regards, -- wwp |
