As you may have read in the project news, I'am no longer active for 
log4cpp ... please ask on the official maillinglist (for example you can 
attach a patch to your mail, so a developer can apply the patch to the 
sources).

I have cc this mail also to the maillinglist. Hope there is someone who 
can help you.
