Log4cpp support:

I need to clarify exactly what is needed to make log4cpp thread-safe.

Is it essential to specify either
	--with-omnithreads[=3D<path-to-omniORB>]=20
or
	--with-pthreads=20
as options for ./configure in order for log4cpp to be thread-safe?

Is anything else needed for thread-safety?
