[Log4cpp-devel] Question about usability

Salve,

from log4j I learned that there is a log4cpp available. I'd like to use it
in a testserver written in C++ (running under Linux Kernel 2.x) to get rid
of all these cout stuff. (That's what loggin is for actually ;-)
I'm used to work with log4j and I like it.

So here's my question: Can I just start using it as I'm used to work with
log4j or are there some critical issues for not taking it in semi
productional code?

Which release would I use or should I go with cvs?

If this is not the right place to ask, point me to the right address
please.
