Last night I put release 0.2.7 RC1 on SourceForge. I'll rename it to =
0.2.7 next monday if noone finds urgent problems. Because the SF release =
pages have broken down again I couldn't add release notes or a =
changelog, so I'll give the changes versus 0.2.6b here:

Please check whether RC1 is OK on your platform, as usual I've only =
checked Linux RH7.2 x86.
