Some comments:
The compile errors with VC5 are bugs in VC5 (fixed in VC6)
not bugs in log4cpp. Therefore this item has been changed to
a feature request for VC5 support instead of a bug report.
Also your report reads like a complaint rather than a
report: it doesn't contain any useful information to resolve
your problem.
Obviously you are not familiar with the process of Free
Software development: projects like log4cpp are volunteer
based. People contribute code based on what they need
themselves. Complaining that something is missing does not
help: obviously no-one has needed your feature yet. If you
like to see support for VC5 in log4cpp, you are very welcome
to create a patch for it and submit it. And that case please
also join the development mailing list and announce your
porting plans: you may find other people willing to help
you.
