I know we all hate "Microsoft" but I am using Log4J on a Java server project I am working on and would love to use Log4cpp for the Windows C++/MFC client as well.
Is anybody working on getting Log4cpp to compile under Visual Studio?

Sorry, I forgot to hate Micrsoft for a moment, too busy innovating. But it's good Microsoft keeps us focused: we (Linux users) are their number one enemy, pardon, threat (Ballmer). Also, as GPLers we're anti innovative and even worse, 'anti American'! (Allchin) Infortunately this poor US government needs more 'education' to understand this. :-D
But I digress. Several people have been looking into porting log4cpp to the win32 platform. This weekend I integrated some modifications from Owen Lynn to compile under MSVC++ 6.0. Checkout the HEAD from CVS, and try for yourself. If someone confirms it compiles under MSVC, I'll release it as log4cpp 0.2.2 later this week.

You should do politics, baastian !! I love your diplomatic style :-)
On the win32 plateforms, do you also use the autoconf suite ? Or do you have to re-write all the makefiles ?
Excuse my Win32 ignorance, I never used it. (And don't want to :-)
Tot gauw,
