Welcome to LockViz
LockViz is a tool for visualizing Java thread dumps as generated by tools such as VisualVM. These thread dumps are large blocks of text which contain a lot of important information and are essential to tracking down threading issues such as deadlocks. However, they are difficult to understand and navigate - especially for complex systems. LockViz is designed to help with this process.
LockViz is free and available in for download as a self executing jar file. As long as you have Java1.6 or later installed you should be able to download and run. If you have issues on your platform then PLEASE start a discussion.
The quickest way to learn how to use this tool is to read the Quick Start Guide or go to the Full Documentation
