Currently the find (Ctrl+F) function doesn't accept enter to initiate the search. The mouse must be used. Initiating the search without using a mouse would be a bery useful feature.

I really want this functionality as well.
I would appreciate the possibility to use keys in search field too. In the moment you have to use the mouse to start a search.

Fixed, now Enter/Tab/Escape/Space/Ctrl-V keys work
