LockNote is terrific, but I think it has a problem.
Every time I modified the text the only way to save it
is selecting "Save as" option, selecting again the same
file and entering again the same password, it's a pain.
My question is, why doesn't exist a "Save" option in
the menu? Perfectly the password can be stored in RAM
memory while the file is open, so when I select "Save"
option the file would be encrypted again automatically
using it and also a new random IV can be generated
automatically (or even the same IV could be used again
stored it too in RAM memory).
In this way users will be able to save easily the file
so often they want.
When the file is closed, password (and IV if it was
stored) is removed from RAM memory.

I agree. This application needs a File...Save feature. Several times I have made changes, then quickly closed the program, and without thinking clicked on "No" when asked, "Do you want to save your changes?" - I'm much more used to saving my changes as I work on the document, than having to exit to save my changes.
Also - how about an autosave feature? Every 5 minutes, for example?
