Options

There are several options that affect the operation of LUP and can be manged by going to Tools > Options.

Remember Last Selection

If this option is enabled then when LUP starts it will try to select the tree node that was selected when it LUP previously quit.

Rollup Downstream Clients

This is equivalent to WSUS's rollup reporting option. If enabled, downstream clients will be reported alongside the master server's clients.

Demote Critical and Security Updates

Many administrators have an automatic approval rule which approves packages that are listed as critical or security updates. While they might wish this for official Microsoft updates they might not want this automatic approval for locally published updates. If this option is enabled then LUP will demote such packages imported from a catalog to be regular updates.
