Hello Dean, I have version 2.4 installed and it ran fine until about two weeks ago, when all of a sudden I've been getting the following error:
Automatic sync-on-startup is enabled. Starting sync - 9/11/13 8:04:58 AM

Again, this used to work and just suddenly stopped with no changes on my end so I don't know what the issue is. The Notes.jar file is here - why can't the program find the darn thing?????
I've been browsing these forums for a solution with no luck. I've run the LNConnectivityTest program and it works successfully - I would post the output but I don't see a log or a way to do so, so please advise.
I've also tried adding the path into the lngsync.vbs file manually, also with no luck. Really need your help! I'm going crazy here. I love this program, but just want it to work again and this has been frustrating. Thanks.

Just wanted to note for users browsing the forum that Dean was not able to resolve this error, though he did try to help with several attempts at a fix. I gave up on this app unfortunately and found an alternative which works well for me. Out of respect for Dean I will not post the name, but I also posted a review with that info. Thanks Dean for all your help.

No worries about mentioning alternative tools. In the LNGS Help File I mention two other tools: CalSync (open-source) and AweSync (commercial). Whatever works for people is good.

Hate to kick a dead horse, but did you ever figure out a solution to this problem? I've been using lngooglecalsync for several weeks now with excellent results (better than CalSync), but now just today this dreaded error about not finding notes.jar popped up. Anything new in this area? Thanks.

Okay, here's what I did to get this to "work" again... I couldn't find a notes.jar in my Notes install directory structure (I am running Notes 9.x). But, I found the zNotes.jar in the lngooglecalsync\lib directory. So, I renamed zNotes.jar to Notes.jar. I still get the popup when lngooglecalsync starts about the missing Notes.jar, but the app seems to work okay after that. I'm not clear on the intent of zNotes.jar, but maybe this gives you an idea of what's wrong... thanks.

Please run lngsync.vbs again and email me the lngsync.log file.
Then run lnconntest.vbs (which you said worked) and send me the output from that file.
