Im in the process of designing/implementing an interface for such kind of plugins. The midi plugin is already working for filter like plugins. The interface is very simple: the plugin in called with two midi event lists, the input event list delivers midi events from the host and the output event list is filled by the plugin. All information the plugin needs from the host must be explicitly provided by the interface. > > My Idea is to create a Arpeggiator Plug-In wicht apear as further internal > "softsynth". Do you think it is possible? yes, the plugin interface will be designed for exactly this kind of plugins. We will provide all information you need to implement an arpeggiator. > > Can some one give me a advice how to get in to the plug-in development? > > And one further question, does it make sense to start this project on muse > 0.7/0.7.1 or shall i thake a look at the next major wicht seems to be > strong under development? you should work on current CVS. As an example and proof of concept I will try to implement the midi metronome as an "midi synth" plugin this weekend. /Werner |
