"Here"s some more information on TiMidity++ dying. TiMidity++ dies after playing only ONE song to COMPLETION. I then have to exit Muse and restart TiMidity++ prior to hearing a second track. However, if I STOP the song just BEFORE it finishes, I can play as many songs as I wish without exiting Muse and restarting TiMidity++. So, the problem of TiMidity++ dying appears only at the completion of a track. Perhaps, something at the end isn"t being initialized that should be or vice versa." Oh brother, Jack WAS the problem to the abnormal termination of TiMidity++. I just upgraded to CVS, Jack 0.99.21, and TiMidity++ no longer dies. <sigh> Sometimes, I feel like silently weeping over this stuff... ;) |
