I don't personally have any midi timing problems and of the top of my head I can't recall any such bug reports since the 0.6 series. Big thanks you for bringing it here (and all the other bugs you've reported), if only more people would report back the bugs they encounter... Could you give some more info about your system and how the problem manifests itself? One thing that comes to mind is that I think MusE always has midi-through "on", which might be a bad idea if you are driving external equipment, is that what you are doing? Mmmm, more and more things are floating to the surface in my mind ;) Is your system running kernel 2.6?
