Hi all, This is maybe a question for Tim or anyone more familiar with the MIDI internals for MusE. I'm using MusE in a way that when a MIDI track is armed for record any incoming MIDI event is sent to that MIDI channel on that MIDI device. (I think that's the default behavior). This usually works quite well but I think I now hit an interesting phenomena. My MIDI keyboard has a few rotary encoders which can send MIDI CC messages for filter sweeps and the like. When I was playing with these I found that moving downwards (from value 64 to 0) works quite well, but moving upwards again only works if one doesn't wait too long. If I keep the encoder constantly moving all works fine. But once the encoder settles on a certain position for a while all subsequent CC values seem to be filtered out until it reaches the 64 point again. I think all CC values are recorded, though. What do you think? I have to admin I didn't recompile MusE for a while. :-) Dennis |
