Hi Flo, before you ask, I've got a bunch of your mails that I haven't gotten around to, I will but it takes time ;) Next, no real answer to your question, there may exist such an automated thing, it sounds as if I have heard about something similar, perhaps in relation to swami... In the meantime though, have you tried the FluidR3 soundfont? 140mb, sounds pretty good. It is free, even included in debian I think.
